
Alexa Martucci M.S CCC-SLP
Alexa is a certified speech language pathologist and the owner of Mind2Mouth Speech Therapy. Alexa attended the University of Rhode Island where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Alexa then attended SUNY Fredonia where she received her Master's Degree in Speech Pathology. Alexa has worked with both children and adults. She opened Mind2Mouth Speech Therapy after finding her passion for working with the adult population and recognizing the need for more person-centered care. Alexa has worked in various settings including private practice, outpatient clinic, acute care, inpatient rehab and skilled nursing facilities. Alexa is committed to ongoing learning to provide the best therapy possible for her patients. She is certified in the SPEAKOUT! Therapy Program for Parkinson's Disease and continues to stay up to date on the latest research. Alexa believes in a functional therapy approach, bringing her patient's interests and hobbies into therapy sessions. Her areas of expertise include aphasia, Parkinson's Disease, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and other neurological disorders. She also has experience supervising graduate students.
